Boing, boing, boing! Squeaky Laroo wants to explore bouncing back and sometimes forward!
Hey, Super Noodlers. Squeaky LaRue here to enjoy each other's company. Great seeing you, again. Today, I want to chat with you about being able to bounce forward. Sure, some people say bounce back after a challenge. But I like to keep learning and growing. So I like to say bounce forward, instead of bounce back. Bouncing forward means being able to move forward after having something not go our way, or a difficult situation take place. Let's bounce forward together. Oh, boy! Have you ever had one of those days where you've had too much stress, like you just want to stay in bed and not know if you could ever get up? I know, I have. A few weeks ago, I volunteered to help Squatchy promote his jam band for their upcoming show in his Cave of Question Marks. He was so excited I was going to help him that he made me in charge of his creative committee. That way, he and his band bats could focus on their music. Squatchy then gave me several different colored poster boards, chalk, paint markers, and tape. He then listed off how many signs he wanted. He said 20. 20 is many. Sorry, I just got loud. He also gave me a list of locations to hang the posters up and advertise his show. Fun fact, did promoting and advertising dates back as far as 3,000 BC. I guess it works because it's been around forever. Squatchy requested that I place the show posters up in Fitness Forest, Lightning Lake, Vocabulary Valley, and Gratitude Gardens. You know, basically across the whole Champiverse. How was he going to get this done? It was so much work. It was so stressful. I wanted to walk away and quit, but I didn't want to let my friend down either. I reminded myself, I needed to be flexible and bounce forward. And not be afraid to ask for help, which is why a lot of people say I'm resilient, which means I bounce forward. I just love to say that. Let's say it together, I bounce forward. Bounce forward. Isn't it fun? I called Flo Yo, [? Pause ?] Petalhead, Flash Bolton and his squirrel crew to help me distribute the posters and to spread the word across the Champiverse. And you know what, it worked. My friends were happy, not only to help me, but also our friend Squatchy. And it was an awesome show. Did I mention it was sold out? I did it. We did it. We all did it together. And my wings couldn't stop flapping to Squatchy's Bigfoot Beat. Okie dokie, Super Noodlers. It's time to bounce forward, be flexible, and celebrate.
